How to get to Edinburgh by Air
With numerous direct scheduled flights from major airports, both in the UK and overseas, Edinburgh International Airport is one of the UK’s fastest growing airports.
The EICC lies within 10km (6 miles) of the airport with a journey time of 20 minutes by taxi or bus.

Taxi ranks are situated outside the terminal building and the cost is approximately £15 one way.
The Airlink 100 operates a frequent bus service (every 10 minutes at peak times) between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre with designated stops en route. The bus operates between 04.45 and 00.22 hours, tickets cost £3.00 single and £5.00 return, for EICC disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and follow signs on a 5 minute walk.
The N22 bus also departs from STAND 19 and runs every half an hour through the night until the Airlink service starts again.
How to get to Edinburgh by Rail
Edinburgh has two railway stations – Waverley and Haymarket. Waverley is the main station and has direct routes to many cities across the country, including over 25 daily departures from London. The high-speed link to London gets you from the heart of one city to the other in just over four hours, while the Eurostar service connects Paris to Edinburgh in around eight hours.
Taxis are readily available at both stations as well as local buses.
